Description
Successful, growing consulting engineering firm is seeking a Designer for projects in industrial and processing facilities. Designers needed for projects in multiple markets including Cereal/Food, Pet food, Renewable Energy and Institutional.
Successful Candidate will:
Play a role in process scope definition and design with primary responsibilities of power and instrument electrical design per client requirements. Perform and document technical design reviews with other disciplines on the project team to produce the highest level of quality. - Interface with clients, engineers, construction administrators, and vendors.
- Direct drafters in detailed designs.
- Be responsible for quality and delivery of construction documentation.
- Provide approval of work performed under direct supervision.
Requirements:
- A.S. Degree
- 5-10 years experience
- AutoCAD software
- Previous design experience in equipment layouts and site layouts
- Experience with P&IDs, process piping layouts, plumbing layouts, and HVAC
- Experience with electrical one-lines, schematics, power plans, lighting layouts and panel drawings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients and in-house support staff
